Spring (March–May)
Schedule your AC tune-up before the first 90-degree day. Clear cottonwood fluff from the condenser weekly in May.
Summer (June–September)
Change filters monthly — wildfire smoke season loads them fast. Consider an upgraded MERV filter or an air purifier for smoke.
Fall (September–November)
Book a furnace tune-up with a carbon monoxide check before the first freeze. Test your CO detectors.
Winter (December–February)
Keep the furnace intake and exhaust pipes clear of snow. Heat pump owners: frost on the outdoor coil is normal; a solid block of ice is not — call for heat pump repair.
